Report a Lost or Stolen Debit Card

Do you believe your Home Federal debit card (or ATM card) has been lost or stolen? Below you’ll find a step-by-step guide on what to do next.

My debit card is lost:

  1. Call the last place you remember using your card to verify that it is not being held at that location.
  2. Verify that none of your other cards or identification items are missing.
  3. Notify your bank. If card is lost after bank hours report lost debit card by calling 1.800.472.3272. Your friendly banker will help you cancel the lost card, and assist with ordering a replacement.
  4. Ensure that you have enough cash and/or checks to cover your expenses while you wait for your new card to arrive. You may receive a new card by stopping into one of our branch locations and speaking with a bank. For those unable to stop into a branch, contact a banker about having a new card ordered and mailed. The typical waiting period is 10-14 business days.

My debit card is stolen:

  1. Take inventory. Make a list of all of the items that were stolen. Credit card? Drivers License? Library Card?
  2. Notify your local law enforcement to file a report for your stolen items.
