Business Money Market
Like the Commercial Basic Savings account, the Business Money Market account offers free online and mobile banking and free e-Statements. Unlike the Basic Savings, however, the Business Money Market account pays out interest based on a tiered rate system. That interest is credited on a monthly basis. You are able to write checks off of the funds in this account, but you must maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,000.00 to avoid a service fee. Account is restricted to 6 debits per month.
Commercial Preferred Money Market
Businesses that maintain large balances in their savings account may qualify for the Commercial Preferred Money Market account at Home Federal. This interest-earning savings account is similar to the Business Money Market. You are able to write checks off of the funds, but you must maintain a minimum daily balance of $25,000 to avoid a service fee. Account is restricted to 6 debits per month. Interest rates are tiered, and interest is credited monthly. Clients with a Commercial Preferred Money Market account qualify for free online and mobile banking, e-Statements, and more (as bulleted above).
