At Home Federal, the health and well-being of our clients, employees, and communities is our top priority. We’re pleased to announce that the lobbies in our branch locations are now open for walk-in services. We have provided important information to keep in mind for your next visit to one of our lobbies:
Our lobbies will be open Monday – Friday from 10am – 2pm, or by appointment.
Exceptions: Our Rochester Downtown lobby will be open from 8:30am – 12:30pm.
Our Spring Valley and Marshalltown lobbies will remain available by appointment only.
All of our available drive-ups will remain open during regular business hours.
We are closely and continuously monitoring the health of our staff to keep our clients safe. Each of our employees will be wearing a mask or a face shield to limit the spread of germs.
We encourage our clients to wear masks or facial coverings - you will be required to temporarily lower your mask for identification purposes. Wash and sanitize hands prior to entering our branches, and please stay at home if you are feeling sick.
In addition, we are implementing CDC guidelines that include:
Plexi Glass Shields: Our tellers will assist clients with their banking needs from behind a plexiglass shield to limit contact and the spread of airborne germs.
Thorough Cleaning and Sanitation: We have enhanced our cleaning procedures to better combat the spread of germs with daily disinfection and sanitation of our branches.
Social Distancing Procedures: We have placed easy-to-follow stickers on the floor to ensure proper social distancing.
Hand Sanitizer: You will find hand sanitizing stations located in all of our lobbies for added convenience during your visit.
We encourage you to use Home Federal’s online and mobile banking tools for self-service banking and 24/7 account access. You can access your accounts online or by using the Home Federal app at your convenience.
Online and Mobile Banking
With our online and mobile banking, you can monitor and manage your accounts 24/7 from anywhere you have internet or mobile data access. With our mobile app, you can deposit checks into any of your accounts.

Drive-up and Night Deposit Box Services
Our drive-up services remain available during regular business hours. Clients can continue to use the night drop boxes.
