Checking

With business accounts, there are a lot of variables depending on your business. At minimum, to open a business account you will need:

  • Documentation stating the legal name of your organization
  • The social security number of the account executor
  • An EIN or TIN as appropriate
  • Valid photo identification including one of the following:
    • Driver’s License
    • State ID
    • Passport
    • Military ID
  • A physical address and mailing address
  • A current telephone number

Additional requirements for your specific loan will be outlined by your local business banker.

Home Federal is required by law to obtain verification of your identity and any co-applicants prior to opening any accounts.

Your routing number may be found on the bottom of your business checks.

Home Federal’s Routing Number is 291270050

Please contact a Home Federal team member to dispute unauthorized transactions on your account. You will need the Unauthorized Company Name and the Transaction Date when calling.

Typically, check deposits are made available to you on the first business day following the date that we receive your deposit. Cash and electronic deposits are made available on the same day we receive your deposit.

Home Federal Business Days are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Our earliest business day cutoff time is 4:30 PM. Deposits made after 4:30 PM will not be considered “received” until our next open business day.

In the case of large checks, questionable account history, or questionable negotiable instruments, a portion of your funds may not be available to you on the first business day following the date we receive your deposit. If this is the case, we will notify you of the delay in your ability to receive funds. You will be provided with the expected fund release date. Typically, the funds are released no later than the seventh business day after the date we receive your deposit.

Loans

Required documents vary based on the structure of your business and the loan size.

Contact your local commerical lender to get a full list of the require documents needed for the loan you're looking for.

Home Federal will never sell your information to third parties.

While we make all of our loan decisions locally and pride ourselves in our quick turnaround time, the approval process varies based on loan size, turnaround time on third-party documents (i.e. appraisals), and if the borrower is an existing client or first-time borrower. Your local commercial lender can give you an estimated time frame when discussing your loan.

We offer a wide range of terms from as little as 30 days to as much as several years – all depending on the type of loan applied for, loan amount, etc. Your commercial lender will help you determine the commercial loan term that fits your business best.

Automatic payments for your loan can be set up simply by filling out the necessary automatic payment setup forms either at loan closing, or by calling 1.888.489.5355 and speaking with a business banker.

Contact your local business banker or call 1.888.489.5355 to receive a balance or payoff amount for your loan.
