What is Special Handling - Returned Deposited Items?
This deposit service enables business customers to direct the Bank to forward returned deposited items back to the customer or to a collection agent after the first present. The customer may also request The Bank to forward a Returned Deposited Item to a collection agent after the second presentment.

Who can benefit from a Lockbox?

• Customers who utilize a collection agent to collect on “bad checks"
• Customer that would like deposit items (check) only presently once instead of twice as is customary

How does it work?

• In both cases, the customer contracts with Home Federal to provide Special Handing services by signing an agreement with Business Services
• Home Federal - Operations administers daily returned according to the agreed upon terms
